Darrell Eugene Stage

Darrell Eugene Stage, age 61, born September 19, 1954 in Athens, Ohio to the late Vernon and Barbara (Guseman) Stage, passed away Saturday, October 10, 2015, surrounded by his family following a short illness. He served in the U.S.Air Force for 17 years and was employed as a technician for Miller Information Systems of Pittsburgh, PA. Darrell is survived by his wife; Laura (Guffey) Stage, sons Kris (Erica) and Steven (Jessica) Stage both of Marion, OH., Justin and Dustin Stage both of Enid, OK., Bryan and Marc Merrill both of San Diego, CA., step children; Shawn and Collin Pearce, Erica White, and Amy Helm, sisters; Sharon (Glen) Snider, Becky (Marshall) Boswell, and Mary (Quintin) Beatty all of Marion, OH., brothers; Doug (Ruth) and Dale (Leslie) Stage both of Marion, OH., grandchildren; Donovan, Dezmond, Dylan, Seth, Riley, Peyton, Derek, Trevor, and Jasmine, great grandchildren; Kelly, Paxton, and Ashlynn, along with numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. He was an avid Ohio State and Cleveland Indians fan, enjoyed fantasy baseball, and loved spending time with his family and supporting everything his kids or grandkids got involved in. The family will be receiving friends from 5:00 - 7:00 PM on Wednesday, October 14, 2015, at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home and from 10:00 - 11:00AM Thursday at the Marion First Church of the Nazarene where a memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM.
