Delores Emily Hornbeck

Delores Emily Hornbeck age 64 of Marion, Ohio, passed away on Saturday May 14, 2016 at Kindred Healthcare. She was born February 22, 1952 in Kenton, Ohio to the late Harold Wayne Betts and Dessie Daines. On December 6, 1969 in Marion, Ohio, she married Clarence Lee Hornbeck and he preceded her in death on January 10, 2013. Delores was an active member of the Salvation Army Ladies Home League until she developed some health issues and became disabled. She was a strong willed lady and remained strong even after her husband died with her many illnesses. Delores leaves behind two daughters and two sons; Betty Elizabeth (Dennis) Willhelm, Diana Large (Harold Eugene Large, Jr.), Robert Lee Hornbeck, and Clarence Lee Hornbeck, Jr., all of Marion, Ohio. Also surviving is a brother, and five sisters, nine grandchildren, and twelve great- grandchildren. Besides her parents and her husband, Delores was preceded in death by a brother and a great- grandchild. There will be a Memorial Service for Delores on Saturday May 21, 2016 at 1:00 P.M. at the Good Faith Baptist Church, 706 E. Mark St. in Marion, Ohio. Officiating the service will be Bill Maniaci. There will be a luncheon at the church following the service. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
