Dorothy Bish Obituary

Dorothy Louise Bish, age 76 of Marion, passed away on Thursday February 22, 2018 at the Marion General Hospital. Dorothy entered into this world on August 11, 1941 to the late Kenneth and Alice (Lodge) Culver. On September 18, 1959 in LaRue, Ohio, she married the late John Ivan Bish. She graduated from the Byhalia York High School. She worked as a cashier at Hills and when Hills became Ames she continued as a cashier until it closed. She will truly be missed by her family and friends. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents: Kenneth and Alice Culver and her brother: Gene Culver. Dorothy will be missed by her daughters: Janet Bish of Marion, OH, Diana (Lee) Wittibslager of Prospect, OH and Sharon (Timothy) Lester of Marion, OH; her son: Douglas Bish of Marion, OH; her sisters: Nancy (Fred) Searson of Kenton, OH, Pat (Dale) McKinley of Kenton, OH, Donna Thompson of Florida and Linda (Al) Rusnak of South Carolina; her brothers: Alan (Barbara) Culver of Florida and Bob (Cyndi) Culver of Tennessee; her nine grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. A Celebration of Life in Dorothy's honor will be held at the Presidential Center at 2 PM Monday February 26, 2018. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her memory to the Boyd-Born Funeral.
