Emmett E. Leonard, age 71 of Altamonte Springs, Florida, formerly of Marion, passed away on Saturday, May 26, 2018. On April 11, 1947, he was born to the late Everett and Betty (McGhee) Leonard in Oak Hill, Ohio, and on January 12, 2018, he married Monna (Franklin) Leonard, who survives in Altamonte Springs, Florida.
He is survived by his wife Monna; his sons Matthew (Chasity) Leonard, Rick (Darlene Bill) Leonard, and Michael (Sarah) Leonard of Marion, OH; his step-sons Tom Baker, Scott (Becky) Baker, Dan (Angie) Apthorpe and Cass (Jennifer) Casperson of Marion, OH and Jay (Rochele Apple) Sherman of Dayton, OH; his daughters Lisa (Dan) Robinson of Marion and Vicky (John) Shoemaker of Caledonia, OH; his step-daughters Phyllis Silva of Altamonte Springs, FL and Veronica (Steve) Browning of Marion, OH; his sisters Gwen (Dennis) Gilliland of Marion, OH, Barb (Jim) Freeman of Marion, OH, and Leah (Rick) Parker of Galion, OH; his aunt Nellie Campbell of Columbus, OH; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
