Estie Williams Obituary
Estie Williams, age 89 of Marion, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday October 1, 2017. She was a long-time follower of Jesus Christ and is now at rest eternally in His presence.
Estie entered into this world on March 27, 1928 to the late Bill and Sarah (Holbrook) Hall in Floyd County, Kentucky. On December 25, 1951, she married the late Perry Williams in Knott County, Kentucky.
Estie was a member of The Family of Love Old Regular Baptist Church. Estie will truly be missed by her family and friends. The joy of her life was caring for her family, including her brothers and sisters. She especially loved visits with the grandchildren, spoiling them with their favorite foods, playing games, and always a trip to the dollar store.
In addition to her husband and parents, Estie was preceded in death by two brothers: Estill and Cleveland Hall; one grandchild and one great grandchild.
She will be missed by her daughters: Connie (Mark) Boyd of Mansfield, OH, Donna (Larry) Shonk of Marion, OH and Diane (Pete) Klaus of Marion, OH; her sons: Larry (Jacquie)Williams of Willard, OH and Garry Williams of Marion, OH; her sisters: Ruth Belford of Marion, OH, Ethel (Tollie) Gamble of Marion, OH, Jean Seiter of Marion, OH, Mary Ann Romeo of South Carolina, Joan (Bill) Peacher of Utah, and Mona (Wayne) Knight of Virginia; her brothers: Lloyd Hall of Marion, OH, Bill (Veronica) Hall of Kentucky and Evin (Thelma)Hall of TN; twelve grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren.
Friends and Family can come to honor Estie's life on Friday October 6, 2017 starting at 5pm to 8pm at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held on Saturday October 7, 2017 at The Family of Love Old Regular Baptist Church. Burial will follow the service at the Grand Prairie Cemetery.
