Grover Bosart Obituary
Grover C. Bosart, Jr., 88, lifelong resident of Green Camp, OH was called home by his Heavenly Father on June 7, 2018. Grover was born to Grover and Ethel (Fish) Bosart on Sept. 3, 1929 and was the youngest of 9 children. He was preceded in death by his parents and his 4 sisters and 4 brothers.
Grover attended Green Camp Methodist Church. He retired from Quaker Oats with over 40 years of service in maintenance. He also spent many years with the Green Camp Volunteer Fire Department. He could fix about anything, and he shared this wisdom and knowledge with many through his employment. After retiring he became an active member of the "Old Timer Club" at Quaker Oats. His love for restoring old cars gave him pride, and he won awards with his favorite Model "A" Ford.
Although Grover never married nor had children of his own, his generosity and love for children was apparent in his everyday life. He will be missed by anyone who had the fortune of knowing him, especially his sister-in-law, Glenys Bosart and many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews. He was our Uncle "Grovy".
Visitation will be observed at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home on Tues, June 12th, 2018 from 11am-1pm with the funeral service following immediately at 1:00pm at the funeral home. Burial will follow at the Green Camp Cemetery.
Donations may be made to the Green Camp Volunteer Fire Department in Grover's name. The Boyd-Born Funeral is honored to serve the Bosart family.
