James Hersman Obituary
James R. "Jim" Hersman age 82 of Marion, Ohio passed away Saturday, November 21, 2015 at Marion General Hospital.
He was born May 15, 1933 in Bidwell, Ohio to the late Rev. John H. and Beulah (Bright) Hersman.
On October 21, 1951 he married Willa Mae (Lemaster) they shared 64 years together.
Jim was employed at Marion Power Shovel as a machinist for 44 years, he attended Heritage Bible Church. He was a devote Christian, loved the Lord and read the Bible every day.
He is survived by his wife, Mae Hersman of Marion, OH., his three children, Linda S. (Ed) Dunn of Cairo, OH., Steve J. (Tina Marie) Hersman of Marion, OH., Tim R. Hersman of Marion, OH., his best buddy, Buster his dog, 7 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, his brother, John (Eva) Hersman of Marion, OH., his sister, Dorothy Doddrill of Vinton, OH., his special friend, Bill Persinger of Larue, OH., and several nieces and nephews. Jim was preceded in death by his brother, Eugene Hersman.
Visitation will be Tuesday, November 24, 2015 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be Wednesday, November 25, 2015 @ 1 PM at Heritage Bible Church, 193 Marion-Williamsport Rd. with Rev Bob Jones officiating. Burial will follow at Marion Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Heritage Bible Church.
