Lucille Irene Corbin

Lucille Irene Corbin passed away on Monday, September 14, 2015, in her home surrounded by her family. She was born on October 14, 1936 in Pleasant Township to Howard and Ada Bowers. She attended Pleasant School. On August 16, 1954 she married the love of her life, Jack Corbin who survives. She is also survived by her six children; Diana Corbin of Marion, OH., Terri (John) Linstedt of Cardington, OH., Jackie (Larken) Slack of Roseville, OH., Laura (Bill) Walker of Dublin, OH., David (Renae) Corbin of Bronston, KY., and Maria (Brent) Rowland of Marion, OH., a brother; Leslie Bowers of Tupelo, MS., three sisters; Polly Brink of Baltimore, MD., Sharon Schaeffer of Westminster, MD., and Frances Clark of Akron, OH., 12 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and her loyal dog; Chloe. Lucille worked at Cardington Locker while living in Cardington. She spent 30 years in Somerset, Kentucky and attended Sardis Methodist Church in Nancy, KY. She returned to Marion four years ago. Friends may call at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 16, 2015, from 6:00 - 8:00 PM and on Thursday from 1:00 - 2:00 PM. Rev. Pat Street will conduct the funeral service in the funeral home on Thursday at 2:00 PM with burial to follow in the Marion Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to Heartland Hospice.
