Peggy Currington Obituary
Peggy L. Currington, age 81, of Marion, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at Heartland of Marion. She was born on December 2, 1934 to the late Carl Shockey and Frances Surrenda, and in 1953, she married Ralph Currington in his hometown of Springfield.
Peggy was an animal lover, a member of the ASPCA and the Humane Society of the United States, and she also loved gardening. She could grow anything.
She is survived by her sons Barry and Terry Currington of Marion, Ohio; her daughter Laura Bushatz-Currington of Marion, Ohio; her grandchildren Stephanie Cox, Crystal Rivers, Kristina McKee, Daniel and Terry Abrams, Dakota Sessler, Shadow and Kristopher Currington, Jed, Asa, and Lucus Currington, and Michael James; and her great-grandchildren Victoria Cox, Summer Strobel, Ryanna Rivers, Braylon Schambs, Pristine Pitchford, Kaden McKee, Daniel and Jenna Abrams, Everleigh, Griffin, and Rose Currington, and Alayna, Lucus, and Maxwell James.
She was preceded in death by her husband Ralph Currington, her son Allen J. Currington, and her daughter Brenda K. James-Currington.
No services will be held.
