Rhoda Prater Obituary

Rhoda E. Prater, age 78, of Caledonia, formerly of Marion, passed away on Thursday, June 15, 2017, at 10:05 PM in the Marion General Hospital. She was born in Salyersville, Kentucky on November 12, !938 to the late Sam and Jessie (Williams) Borders. She was married to Eddie Prater who preceded her in death on March 11, 1998 in Marion, Ohio. Rhoda was a member of the First Freewill Baptist Church on Crissinger Road and retired from the Quaker Oats Company as a machine operator after many years of service there. Surviving are two sons; Ronald Prater of Caledonia, OH. & Dewayne Prater of Ridgeway, OH., two brothers; Cory (Judy) Borders of Caledonia, OH. & Eddie Borders of Columbus, OH., a sister; Lorene (Ron) Ratliff of Marion, OH., a grandson; Jed David Prater, and a great grandson; Cash David Prater. Rhoda was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters. Friends may call at the First Freewill Baptist Church on Monday, June 19, 2017, from 11:00 AM until service time at 1:00 PM.
