Stavroula "Voula" Antjas

Stavroula "Voula" Antjas, 73, passed away peacefully on June 19, 2018 surrounded by family. Born in Stemnitsa, Greece July 10, 1944 to Argiriou and Kanto Vrettos. She came to America to build a home and a family with Peter J. Antjas whom she married February 14, 1971. Together they raised three children who were a great source of pride. Voula enjoyed tending to her garden on summer evenings, using its yields to feed her family and friends. A master seamstress, she was known throughout the community for her attention to detail. Her greatest joy was supporting her children and grandchildren in all of their achievements. She taught them all the importance of faith, family, and love. She will be loved always and forever by her children Sophia (Craig) Morton of Hilliard, Kanto (Chad) Ries of Niles, and John (Joanna) Antjas of Columbus and five grandchildren Max, Cora, Jasper, Athan, and Abel; her siblings Panayiota (Costa) Kalomiris, Yianni (Maria) Vrettos, George Vrettos, all of Athens, Greece and Chrisse (Chris) Diamantopoulos, of Peabody, Massachusetts. She will be loved and missed by sisters-in-law and her brother-in-law and many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews whom she adored. She is preceded in death by her husband, Peter, and her parents and other special loved ones. Her family finds great comfort that she will be reunited with them all.

Visitation will be Thursday, June 21, 2018 from 5-8 PM at Marion Bible Fellowship, 590 Forest Lawn Dr. Marion, Ohio with trisagion service held at 7:45 PM. Funeral service will be Friday, June 22, 2018 at 10 AM at Marion Bible Fellowship with Father Michael Ellis officiating, burial will follow at Marion Cemetery.
