Adam Carmon

Adam Dale Carmon, Sr., age 47 of Marion, passed away on Sunday, March 17/2024 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.

Adam was born on March 11, 1977 to Franklin and Kathy (Shepherd) Carmon in Marion, Ohio.  On February 2, 2012, he married Brandy Jordan in Marion, Ohio, after being together for 20 years.

Adam was a mason with the Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers for 20 years.  He loved cookouts with the family, traveling with his wife, music, fishing and hunting with his three sons.  Mostly he loved spending time with his grandbabies.  He will truly be missed by family and friends.

Adam was preceded in death by his father, Frank Carmon, his grandchild, Rowan Dietsch and his grandmother, Joyce Lyles.

Those who will cherish his memories include his wife, Brandy Carmon; his children: Hali (Tyler Dietsch) Tomblin, Brock (Jessica Messenger) Matteson, Nicole (Tim Tuttle) Carmon, Adam Dale (Lacy Cunningham) Carmon, Jr. Kimberly “Lil-K-Hundo” Carmon and Blake (Kaelin Nelson) Carmon;; his grandchildren: Kylee and Kensley Tomblin, Braylon and Braven Matteson, Adam Dale Carmon, III and Amayah Dale Carmon; his sister, Monica Carmon; his father and mother-in-law, Rocky and Cindy Jordan; his special brother-in-law, Ryan Johnson: his son-in-law, Sean “Jay” Tomblin; and especially his “fur baby”, Bella.

Friends and family may come to honor Adam’s life from 11am to 1pm on Monday, March 25, 2024 at Boyd Funeral Home.  A funeral service will follow starting at 1pm on Monday, March 25, 2024 at the funeral home.  A burial will follow the funeral service at Grand Prairie Cemetery. Donations may be given in Adam’s memory to the family for funeral expenses. The Boyd Funeral Home is honored to be serving the Carmon family.
