Stephen L. "Fester" Kerr

Stephen L. Kerr, age 44, of Marion passed away suddenly at his home on August 28, 2019. He was born on August 2, 1975 in Mansfield, OH to Roger L. and Sheila R. (Posa) Kerr. Shortly thereafter, the family moved and made their life in Marion. Stephen graduated from Ridgedale High School, and was in the marching band. He worked as a Press Operator at Whirlpool for many years, and most recently at Community Living Experience (CLE) as a caregiver.

Stephen was known for his passion of music. He was in choir and band, was picked for the Honors Choir, was in the Marching Band where he played both saxophone and drums. He was also baptized as a Lutheran.

He is survived by his parents Roger and Sheila, his daughter Hailey Nicole Kerr of Bucyrus, his brother Jeffrey (Rhonda) Kerr of Delaware, his niece Kayleigh M., and nephew Cody A., and many friends.

Family is inviting all to a Celebration and Remembrance Memorial Service for Stephen at Emanuel Lutheran Church, 241 S. Prospect St.., officiated by Pastor Mark Schuring at 11 AM on Saturday, September 14, 2019.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to the Community Living Experience.
