Alta M. Kuhn

Alta M. Kuhn, age 86 of Marion, passed away on Thursday, June 1, 2023 at Presidential Post Acute. She was born on May 17, 1937, to the late Buster and Lola M. (Conley) Collins in McGuffey, Ohio.

Alta worked as a technician for GTE for 24 years until her retirement. She faithfully attended Calvary Bible Baptist Church, and she enjoyed reading and bowling.

She is survived by her daughters Nancy A. (Robert) Simpson, Victoria L. (Marvin) Harrell, and Elizabeth A. (Hank) Zehendner; her sisters Jeanne Pryor, Arlene Martin, and Brenda Beynon; her grandchildren April Warner, Alta Rae Ambrose, Veronica Alexander, Alicia Sheffield, Alexis Stockton, Karie Ferguson, and Matt Harrell; 13 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her son Donald Eugene Kuhn, II; her brothers Alfred Collins, Clinton Collins, and Lloyd Collins; her sisters Eula Hardin and Barbara Fields; and her parents Buster and Lola Collins.

Calling hours will take place on Wednesday, June 7, 2023 from 11 am to 1 pm at Calvary Bible Baptist Church, 1419 Linn-Hipsher Rd., Marion. Services will take place at 1 pm at the Church with burial to follow at Grand Prairie Cemetery.
