Billie Jo Klaiber

Billie Jo Klaiber, age 89 of Marion, passed away on Saturday, November 26, 2022 at her home. She was born in Garrett, Kentucky, on November 2, 1933, to the late Kermit and Margaret (Moore) Sparkman.

Billie worked at Whirlpool for 26 years, and she was a member of Good Faith Baptist Church.

She is survived by her sons Greg Burkett and Cecil R. Burkett; her daughters Phyllis Unroe, Sheila Judy, and Priscilla Shifflet; her brother Fairl Sparkman; her sisters Teresa Sparkman, Gurdy Slone, Bernice Coburn, and Jane Martin; 11 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents Kermit and Margaret; her daughter Brenda Mitchell; 4 brothers; and 3 sisters.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, December 4, 2022 from 1 pm to 3 pm at the Boyd Funeral Home. Services will take place at 3 pm at the funeral home with Rev. Barkley Slone officiating. Burial will follow at Green Camp Cemetery.
