Geneva W. (Mullins) Roy

We lost a loving Mother, Grandmother, Sister, and Friend to many. Our Mother was the 21st child of Samuel Malone and Stella Ealey-Malone-Holcomb. She was born on September 20, 1942 and died on Friday, March 27th, 2020. She was born in Ironton, Ohio, her father died when she was 5 and the family moved to Marion, Ohio. She married Layton R. Mullins (Bub) in Marion, Ohio on March 2, 1956. Layton passed away on November 4th, 2000. On June 24th, 2006 she married Roger P. Roy and he passed away on March 18th, 2018. Leaving behind two daughters and three sons, one deceased. Jackie and Jack Andrews (Marion, Ohio), Pamela and Keith Cogan (Hendersonville, TN), Ruey (deceased) and Karen Mullins (Marion, Oh), Howard Mullins (Marion, Oh) and Tom and Mary Mullins(Kodak, TN).

She left behind 17 Grandchildren, Danielle and Joe Gaffney, Debbie (Dee) Dutton, Jason and Joanna Dutton, Melissa and Paris Ball, JR and Sherry Andrews, Dorothy Lovell, Sherry and Lloyd Mead, Brian Coolbaugh, Tara and Robert Smith, Sara and Eric Morse, Howard (Runt) Mullins, Chasadie and Aaron Myer, Vincent Mullins, Nicole and Julio Godoy, Austin Moore, Tomi Mullins (Dalton), Savanna Simpson.

She left 33 Great Grandchildren and 6 Great-Great Grandchildren.

She left two Sister-in-laws, Vi Malone-Potts and Barbara Malone.

She left behind many nieces and nephews. She was especially close with Niece, Connie Jackson and Great Niece, Sarah Bryd and Lifelong Friend Nancy Chaffin.

Those that proceeded her in death were two husbands, Layton R. Mullins and Roger P. Roy, and son Ruey Mullins, and grandson Layton Bubby Mullins, 10 brothers and 10 sisters, Special Niece Kathy Bryd.

There will be a graveside service at Grand Prairie Cemetery in Brush Ridge, Ohio on April 10th,2020 at 11:00 am. Attendance is allowed but Please use all precautions necessary.
