Johnny Lee Imboden

John Lee Imboden Jr. age 50 of Marion, Ohio went to be with his Heavenly Father, September 23, 2020 at Marion General Hospital.

John was born June 19, 1970 in Marion, Ohio to John Sr. and Peggy (Bumgarner) Imboden. He graduated Marion Harding High School in 1989 where he had played football and wrestled.

On August 20, 1994 he married Connie S. (Walker) Imboden, together they had two children, Michael C. Imboden and Cari Ann (Anthony Adkins) Imboden, both of Marion.

Johnny coached basketball and track at MCBDD (Marca). You would find him on the court with his players showing them different plays and shots or on the track when the team was competing, he would run in the grass beside his runners. He also loved watching Buckeyes football or basketball games.

Johnny is survived by his wife, his parents, his children, his father in law, Johnny Walker, sister in laws, Crista Higgins, Charlott (Jeff) Myers, brother in law, David Wlaker.

Johnny was preceded in death by his sister, Jennifer Imboden, grandparents Ora Ross & Gladys Marie Imboden, Sherry Walker, Virginia Binau and Irwin “Skeeter” Bumgarner.

Visitation will be held Monday, September 28, 2020 from 2 – 4 PM at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home, where social distancing will be observed. Graveside Services will follow at 4:30 PM at Grand Prairie Cemetery with Pastor Lanny Imboden officiating. The Family request that those attending the visitation and funeral to wear your favorite sports team shirt.
