Timothy "Peanut" Martin Painter

Timothy “Peanut” Martin Painter, age 58 of Marion, passed away on Sunday, December 11, 2022 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio

Tim was born on June 19, 1964 to Henry French and Martha Jean (Storer) Painter in Marion, Ohio. 

Tim graduated from Elgin High School in 1982. He was a construction worker for all of his life. A jack of all trades, he could fix anything and everything! He never met a stranger, as he became friends with everyone he met. He loved his family very much. Tim will truly be missed by family and friends.

Tim was a stubborn man and hated going to the doctors. He was sick for about two months before he decided to go to the doctor. He was sent to Riverside on Monday December 5th, 2022. That Thursday December 8th he was diagnosed with Pancreatic cancer and lost his battle a few short days later. 

Those who will cherish his memories include his mother, Martha Jean Jackson of Marion, Ohio; his father, Henry French Painter of Bellville, Ohio; his daughter, Heather (Eric) Fout of Prospect, Ohio; his sister, Tina (Ernest Hamm) Painter of LaRue, Ohio; his two grandchildren, Eric Fout II and Erica Fout. His nephew Raymond Christopher (Dana) Jackson of Greer, South Carolina. 

His stepbrother Raymond (Jackie) Jackson of Iberia, Ohio; his stepbrother Rick Jackson Bellville, Ohio; stepsister Nikkie Hamm Big Island, Ohio. Along with various nieces, nephews and cousins. 

He was preceded in death by his nephew Todd Jeremy Jackson; his stepfather Raymond Curtis “Tom” Jackson; his stepmother Nelson Melvina Painter.

Family and friends are encouraged to stop at his mother’s house to pay respect and visit his family at any time. A celebration of life will be held on June 17th, 2023, two days before what would have been his 59th birthday. The Boyd Funeral Home is honored to be serving the Painter family.
