Carolyn Breitigam Obituary
Carolyn Sue Breitigam, age 76 of Marion, passed away on Tuesday, November 5, 2019 at Heartland of Marion. She was born on November 15, 1942 to the late Carlisle Edward and Eunice (Cooper) Rife in Kehoe, Kentucky.
Carolyn was very involved in the local religious community throughout her life, and she spent her childhood years in the Nazarene church. She worked at the McDonald’s on Main Street for 20 years, and later worked as a caretaker for the developmentally disabled at Community Living Experience for 10 years.
She is survived by her son Jeffrey Breitigam of Columbus; her brother Edward (Sharon) Rife of Marion; and her sisters Donna (Gene) Caskey of Nevada, Ohio, and Debbie (Clay) Muncie of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
She was preceded in death by her parents Carlisle and Eunice and her sisters Lela Williams and Phyllis Throckmorton.
