Deborah Ann Hart

Deborah Ann “Debbie” Hart, age 68 of Marion, passed away on Tuesday, November 19, 2019 at her home. She was born on April 18, 1951 in Marion to the late John Evans Baer, Sr., and Henrietta June (Dawson) Baer.

Debbie was a River Valley graduate, and she also worked in various customer service positions throughout her lifetime. She enjoyed singing whenever she had the chance. She also loved caring for people, and she was Mom and Grandma to everyone. Deborah truly had a heart of gold, and she will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her sons Andy (Jen) Snyder of Enfield, Connecticut, and Evan (Holly) Hart of New Orleans, Louisiana; her daughters Angie (Joe) LaRosa of Sebring, Florida, and Jamie (Tony) Belden of Mount Gilead, Ohio; her brother James Baer, Sr., of Mount Gilead, Ohio; her grandchildren Zachary, Michael, Adam, Amanda, Annie, Alex, Shyann, and Elli; and her great-grandchildren Daniel and Dean. She also leaves many nieces, nephews, and friends who will miss her.

She was preceded in death by her parents John and Henrietta Baer; her brothers John E. “Mick” Baer, Jr.; and Charles “Fred” Baer, and her sisters Louise Akers, Virginia Hickman, and Judy Fields.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday, November 24, 2019 from 4 pm to 5 pm at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home. Services will follow at 5 pm. Burial will take place at a later date at Caledonia Cemetery.
