Glenda Murphy

Glenda (Dillinger) Murphy, 64, of Marion, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly October 6, 2019. 

Glenda was born to the late Ralph Dillinger and Nancy (Wolford) Dillinger, May 31, 1955 in Jackson, Ohio.  She married the late Donald “Bud” Murphy in 1970, and they lived together in Marion, Ohio.  Together they raised two daughters.

In addition to her parents and husband, Glenda was preceded in death by her daughter, Lisa Murphy and siblings, Deborah (Dillinger) Warrens and Mark Dillinger.

Glenda is survived by one daughter: Sheri Murphy.  She also leaves to cherish her memory five grandchildren Devon (Bethany) Sergent, Nichole Murphy, Raychel Murphy, Harlee (Price)(Aron) Noggle and Steven Price, nine great-grandchildren, and two brothers Steve (Paula) Dillinger and Dwayne Dillinger.  She will be remembered for all the children she raised as her own and her feisty and fun personality.

Calling hours are scheduled for Monday, October 14, 11:00 am at Boyd’s Funeral home and funeral service immediately following at 1:00 pm. Family and friends will gather for a meal following the burial at the Community Hall, 1639 Marion-Waldo Road Marion, Ohio 43302. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the funeral home in honor of Glenda Murphy.
