Henry "Bob" Robert Christian

Henry “Bob” Robert Christian, age 78 of Marion, passed away on Sunday, November 10, 2019 at the Marion General Hospital.

Bob entered into this world on February 19, 1941 to the late Benjamin Edward Christian and Mabel Doris (Simpson) Christian in Marion, OH.  On April 22, 1967, he marred Patsy Ruth White in Marion, OH.

Bob belonged to the Orton Street Church.  He retired as a janitor from the Marion Power Shovel after working 18 years.  He enjoys whittling and spending time with family. Bob will truly be missed by family and friends.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers: Rex Christian, Allen Christian, Harmon Christian, James Christian and Charles Christian; and his sisters: Mary Jane Keller and Joanne Christian.

Those who will cherish his memories include: his wife of 52 years: Patsy Christian of Marion, OH; his daughter: Tenia Ann Christian of Mansfield, OH; his sister: Ethel M. Christian of Marion, OH; his grandsons: Justin Hughes and Michael Hughes; his great grandson: Justin T. Hughes, Jr.; and his nieces and nephew.

Friends and family may come to honor Bob’s life on Thursday, November 14, 2019 from 5pm to 7pm at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held on Friday, November 15, 2019 starting at 11am at the Grand Prairie Cemetery with Rev. Bill Middleton and Rev.
