Robert Harold Snyder

     Robert Harold Snyder, age 78, of Marion passed away on Saturday, December 7, 2019, at 1:00 AM in the Heartland of Marion. He was born in Marion, Ohio on December 6, 1941, the son of the late Harold E. and Madolyn (Gamble) Snyder.  Robert married the former Glada J. Sheldon in Byhalia, Ohio on February 5, 1965 and she survives in Marion. He is also survived by two sons; Douglas & Michael Snyder both of Marion, OH., a brother; Jack (Carolyn) Snyder of Findlay, OH., a sister; Sharon Mathews of Marion, OH., five grandsons; Scott, Dustin, Cory, Chris, & Ryan, five great grandchildren, and several cousins. Bob was preceded in death by a grandson.

     Robert was employed for over 30 years with the Eaton Corp./ Dana Corp. in the IT Dept. before his retirement. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2019, at 12:00 Noon in the Central Baptist Church, 2816 Marion-Waldo Rd., Marion. Pastor Ryan Strother will be officiating. Friends may attend the visitation at the church prior to the service on Saturday from 10:00 AM until service time at 12:00 Noon.
