Cindy Burns Obituary
Cindy S. Burns age 70 of Marion, Ohio passed away Tuesday. October 16, 2018 at Heartland of Marion.
She was born December 18, 1947 in Marion, Ohio to the late Carroll E. and Vivian J. (Loyer) Winters.
Cindy graduated from Marion Harding High School in 1965 and attended Judson College in Elgin, Ill., and loved being involved on reunion committees and seeing all her old friends. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church where she enjoyed singing in the choir, loved all sports especially The Ohio State Buckeyes and bowling. Her greatest love was her grandchildren. She will be remembered for her vivacious spirt and exuberant smile.
She is survived by her children, Kelle Gabriel of Marion and Shane (Stacy) Gabriel of Marion,son in law, Drew Sherbourne of Mt.Gilead, four grandchildren, Matthew Gabriel, Graham Sherbourne, Collin Gabriel, Brycen Gabriel, her sister, Penny (Craig) Woodrum of Marion and nieces and Kyle (Mike) Griffith and Katie (Lincoln) Stephenson and several great nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Cindy's Life will be held Sunday, October 21, 2018 at 2PM at Trinity Baptist Church, 244 S. Main St. Marion, Ohio with Pastor Bill Middleton officiating.
Memorial Contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Research in care of the Boyd-Born Funeral Home.
