Edward Ravert Obituary
Edward L. Ravert age 76 of Marion, Ohio formerly of Cincinnati. Ohio passed away Thursday, January 18, 2018 at Heartland of Marion.
He was born April 15, 1941 in Pasadena, California to the late Edward H. and Beatrice M. (Ellis) Ravert.
On December 26, 1959 he married Bertha A. (Brown) Ravert, she preceded him in death on November 27, 2014.
Edward was employed retired from U.A.S. as an Industrial Air Pollution Engineer. He was a member of Emanuel Lutheran Church, enjoyed Jazz music and loved to polka and square dancing with his wife. He will be greatly missed and cherished by his family as an intelligent, loving and caring Father and Grandfather.
He is survived by his children, Mark (Sharon) Ravert of Dahlonega, Georgia and Kelli Hundley of Marion, five grandchildren, Jacob (Yen) Hundley, Luke Hundley, Caleb Hundley, Brittany Leeds, Olivia Leeds, his brother, Philip Ravert of California and his sister, Sonia Ravert of Columbus.
Edward was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Bertha Ravert.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 24, 2017 at Emanuel Lutheran Church, 241 S. Prospect St. from 12pm to 1pm. The funeral service will begin at 1pm at the church with Deacon Kevin Kehn officiating. Burial will follow at Marion Cemetery. The Boyd-Born Funeral Home is honored to be serving the family.
