Emma Zornes Obituary
Emma Mae Zornes, age 76 of Marion, passed away on Monday, November 26, 2018 at the Marion General Hospital.
Emma entered into this world on May 1, 1942 to the late Harry and Mable Baker in Marion, Ohio. On May 16, 1969, she married the late William A. Zornes in Vanceburg, KY.
She worked as a housekeeper at the Comfort Inn for several years. She will be missed by family and friends.
Emma was preceded in death by her parents: Harry and Mable Baker; her sisters: Mary Terry, Patricia Caudill and Mildred Lucas; her brother: Harry Baker, Jr.; her grandsons: Layton R. Mullins and Denver E. Malone; and her granddaughter: Jessica F. Sharrock.
Those who are left to cherish Emma's memory is her daughters: Kandy (Roger) Sharrock, Helen (Frank) Lavenia and Hazel Baird; her sister: Nancy (Ronald) Smith; her twenty-three grandchildren; her twenty-three great grandchildren; and her one great great grandchildren.
Friends and family may come to honor Emma's life on Friday, November 30, 2018 starting at 1pm to 3pm at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home in Marion, Ohio. A memorial service will follow starting at 3pm at the funeral home.
Donations may be given in care of the Boyd-Born Funeral Home in Emma's memory to assist in funeral expenses.
