Glenn McNutt Obituary
Glenn LeRoy McNutt, age 65 of Goshen, IN, passed away on February 3, 2019 at the Goshen Hospital after a lengthy illness.
Glenn entered into this world on August 18, 1953 and was the son of Lawrence E. and N. Jolene (Carrothers) McNutt in Salinas, California. He was a 1971 graduate of River Valley High School in Marion, OH. He then proudly served his country in the United States Army.
Those who will cherish his memory include his companion of 26 years Melissa Tanner of Goshen. Children Nicole (Louis) Rumsey and Rachel (Matthew) Burcz of Lake Odessa MI., and sons Justin (Megan) Riley of Columbia, MO and Christopher Tanner of Columbus, OH. Grandchildren include Natalie, Ethan, Samantha, Colton, Jackson, Landon, Eion, Seth, Mareesa, Sarah, Valerie, and Jason in addition to 3 great grandchildren. Glenn truly loved and enjoyed his grandchildren.
He is survived by his father Lawrence of Goshen, sister Ruth Ann Heiser of Pickerington, OH and nieces Jennifer Roudebush of Urbana, OH, Angela Leidheiser and Christine Barkley of Pickerington, OH, 3 great nieces and 1 great nephew.
Glenn was preceded in death by his mother N. Jolene Blanchard.
Friends and family may come to honor Glenn's life on Friday, February 8, 2019 from 12pm to 1pm at the Trinity Baptist Church, 220 South Main Street, Marion, OH 43302 with the Marion County Veterans Council conducting military honors at the church. A graveside service will follow at the Marion Cemetery at 1:30pm. Online condolences may be expressed to the family at: www.boydbornfuneralhome.com. The family has requested in lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Wounded Warriors or Disabled American Veterans (DAV).
