Jeffery Richard Frye, age 58 of Urbana, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at his home in Urbana peacefully. He was born on May 6, 1960 in Mount Vernon, Ohio, to Shirley (Sapp) Frye and her late husband Marvin Richard Frye of Marion, Ohio.
Jeff worked for 29 years as a forklift driver at Midwest Express Inc. He loved his grandchildren and always had a great time with his brothers. He also enjoyed fishing and spending time at the lake.
He is survived by his mother Shirley Frye; his daughter Shannon Frye; his son Justin Richard Frye; his siblings Terry Frye, Debbie (Jeff) Jones, Diana (Tim) Brammer, Donna (Barry) Black, Dody (Bob) Brewer, Brian (Krissie) Frye, and Doug Frye; his grandchildren Landon Frye, Sophia Bollinger, and Ellianna Rae Allen-Frye; numerous nieces and nephews; and his first wife Sue Frye.
He was preceded in death by his father Marvin and his sister Danita Frye.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday, January 19, 2019 from 2 pm to 4 pm at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home. Services will follow at 4 pm.
