Julie Lynn Pennington, age 57 of Marion, passed away suddenly on May 25, 2018 at the Marion General Hospital.
Julie entered into this world on November 5, 1960 to the late Richard Keplar and Lacreda (Lundy) Okerman in Marion, OH.
Julie graduated from the Harding High School class of 1979. She retired from Verizon after working over 20 years of employment.
She never knew a stranger for her love of people because she had such a big heart. She had a contagious smile and laugh. Her greatest love was her family, especially her daughters and grandchildren. She will truly be missed by her family and friends.
Julie was preceded in death by her father: Richard Keplar.
Julie will be missed by her mother: Lacreda (Richard) Okerman; her daughters: Adena Pennington (Jonathan Gootee) and Allison Pennington (Taylor Hall); her significant other: John Glass; her brothers: Vince Keplar and Rick Keplar; her grandchildren: Havyn, Jalyn, Roayn, Haise and Remie; and her canine companion: Rowdy.
Friends and Family may come to honor Julie's life on Saturday June 2, 2018 starting at 5pm to 7pm at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow starting 7pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Prospect Street United Methodist Church.
