Lana Blaney Obituary
On July 23,2018, Lana Rae Blayney, 70, of Waldo, OH, went to join her parents in Heaven. She was born on October 12, 1947 in Marion OH, and was the only child of the late Dwight and Henriett Blayney.
Lana spent many years working for MARCA Industries and lived the past 18 years at the Tiffin Developmental Center, where she also worked for a short time. Although she never married and had no children of her own, she loved to "mother" her collection of dolls and stuffed animals of all kinds. She had and infectious smile and a sense of humor that attracted love and attention to her throughout her life.
After the death of her parents, her cousin, Evelyn Miller, became her guardian and will miss her dearly. Also left to cherish her memory are the many wonderful caretakers at the Tiffin Developmental Center.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 27, 2018 from 12-1:00pm at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 1:00pm and will be officiated by Pastor Ron Ellyson, followed by her burial at the Glendale-Union Cemetery in Cardington, OH.
The Boyd-Born Funeral Home is honored to be chosen to care for Lana. Memorial contributions can be made to the Tiffin Developmental Center.
