Peggy Franklin Obituary
Peggy Lou Franklin, age 73 of Marion, passed away on Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at her home. On April 21, 1945, she was born to the late James Lloyd and Ruby Lulu (Lynn) Wells in Waynesfield, Ohio, and on June 7, 1963, she married her husband William G. Franklin.
Peggy worked several odd jobs throughout her life, including J-Lenco and Ridgeway Hatchery, and she also worked in home-healthcare with Emery Jividen.
She is survived by her sons Donald Lee (Trista) Franklin and William "Tod" (Marty) Franklin; her daughter Janice Marie Walter; her brothers George (Cathy) Wells and Clyde (Norma) Wells; her sisters Nancy Almire, Betty (Bill) Music, Carol (Larry) Bailey, and Dorothy (Don) Shepherd; and her grandchildren Cody Walter, Christina Franklin, Michael Culp, Victoria Franklin, Isiah Franklin, and Mary Franklin.
She was preceded in death by her husband William, her parents James and Ruby, her son Chris Allen Franklin, and her brothers James L. Wells, Jr., and Robert L. Wells.
Calling hours will be held on Monday, August 6, 2018 from 6 PM to 9 PM at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home. Services will take place on Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at 11 AM at the funeral home with Pastor Timothy Pasma officiating. Burial will follow at LaRue Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
