Rachel Roseberry Obituary
It is with great sadness that the family of Rachel Jones Roseberry announces her passing after a brief illness on Wednesday January 16th, 2019 at the age of 71 years.
Rachel will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 30 years, Michael and her children, Tim (Missy), Kristin (Joe), and Sarah (Nate). Rachel will also be fondly remembered by her five grandchildren, Derek, Shaun, Rachel, Alex, and Amelia and by sister-in-law Marilyn Jones and niece Melissa Schnipke. Rachel was predeceased by her parents Marcella and David Jones and her brother Morgan Jones.
Rachel was born in Van Wert, Ohio. She attended Kent State University and received her degree in Education. She was a dedicated teacher for over 20 years and retired from Pleasant Elementary School. Rachel was an active member of the DT Chapter of the Philanthropic Education Organization, P.E.O. Sisterhood in Marion, Ohio.
Rachel was a lover of people and a gregarious humanitarian. She always enjoyed traveling, meeting new people, and learning about others. Most of all Rachel loved spending time with her husband, children, grandchildren, family, and friends.
Calling hours for Rachel will be held on Sunday, January 20th, from 1:00-3:00pm with a Service at 3:00pm at Boyd-Born Funeral Home 122 W. Columbia St. Marion, OH 43302.
