Romeo Howard Young

Romeo Howard Young, age 85, of Marion, passed away on Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at Marion Pointe Nursing Home. On June 14, 1932, he was born to the late Romie and Ida (Salisbury) Young in Charleston, West Virginia, and on June 27, 1953, he married his wife Bessie Lou Young, who preceded him in death on March 13, 2006.
Romeo attended the First Freewill Baptist Church.
He is survived by his daughters Marlene (Carl) Colgrove and Charlene (Larry) Carr; his sons Donald (Melissa) Young, Ronald (Lisa) Young, and Charlie Young; his brother Clayton Young; his sister Flo Richardson; and 22 grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife Bessie Lou and his parents Romie and Ida.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, September 29, 2017 from 4 PM to 8 PM at the First Freewill Baptist Church, 1449 Crissinger Rd., Marion, Ohio. Services will take place on Saturday, September 30, 2017 at 11 AM at the church. Burial will follow at Otterbein Cemetery in Prospect, Ohio.
