Barbara Ann Simpkins

Barbara Ann Simpkins, age 80 of Marion, passed away on Monday, November 23, 2020 at Marion Pointe. She was born on April 30, 1940 in New Plymouth, Ohio, to the late Elmer Enis and Cynthia Ann (Hale) Robinson, and she was later placed into the care of her late adopted mother, Eva Marie Hall.

Barbara worked at Parker Hannifin for 30 years before her retirement. She was a talented organ player and gardener, and she enjoyed drawing and painting, as well as crocheting.

She is survived by her daughter Dianne (Michael) Schnitzler; her sons James (Tina) Wolfe and Douglas (Lisa) Simpkins; 11 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents Elmer and Cynthia Robinson; her adopted mother Eva Marie Hall; her sister Rose Mary Stewart; her brothers Albert Dysert, Gene Dysert, Willard Robinson, Richard Robinson, William Robinson, and Timothy Robinson; and her adopted brother Frank Hall, Jr.

A private graveside service will be held for the family at Chapel Heights Memory Gardens.
