Donna Ruth Cochran

Donna Ruth Cochran, age 69 of Prospect, passed away on Sunday, May 10, 2020 at the Grant

Medical Center of Columbus, OH.

Donna was born on November 8, 1950 to the late Clyde and Evelyn (Adkins) Lester in

Richwood, OH. On August 21, 1969, she married Ronald Cochran in Elkhorn City, KY.

She was baptized in 1979 and was a member of The Stoney Ridge Baptist Church of Carey, OH.

One of her last jobs was being a teller at Commercial Savings Bank for 10 years. She will truly

be missed by family and friends.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Kenneth Lester and her son-in-law

Steven Haynes.

Those who will cherish her memories include her husband of 50 years: Ronald Cochran of

Prospect, OH; her daughters: Amy (Tim) McCall of Etna, OH, Teresa Haynes of Morral, OH and

Sarah (Jon) Garlock of Westerville, OH; her sisters: Shelba (Bill) Childers of Ashley, OH, Betty

(Tom) Wooten of Prospect, OH and Doris (Dave) McCarty of Marysville, OH; her six

Grandchildren: Noah, Brendan, Devon, Mallory, Avery, & Jayce as well as her many nieces &

nephews.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, May 21, 2020 from 4pm to 6pm at the Boyd-Born Funeral

Home. According to the state health guidelines, only 20 people at a time will be allowed inside

the funeral home during these hours. A graveside service, with no restrictions, will be held on

Friday, May 22, 2020 at Price Cemetery in Richwood, OH at 11 am with Pat Gilliland & AJ

Williamson officiating.  Donations may be given in Donna’s memory to Nationwide Children

Hospital, P.O. Box 16810, Columbus, Ohio 43216.
