Helen Marie Williams

Helen Marie Williams, age 86 of Marion, passed away on Sunday, May 14, 2023 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Toledo, Ohio.

Helen was born on November 12, 1936 to the late Marion and LaVerne (Seiter) McCombs in Marysville, Ohio.  On March 31, 1952, she married the late James R. Williams in Richmond, Indiana.

Helen retired as a supervisor after working for more than 30 years at Kable Fulfillment Services.  Helen enjoyed painting and doing crafts.  She loved cats.  Helen will truly be missed by family and friends.

Helen was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, James R. Williams; her sons: David Williams and Larry Williams and her brother, Donald McCombs; her sister-in-law, Phyllis McCombs and nephew, Michael.

Those who will cherish her memories include her grandson, Matthew (Barbara Fraley) Williams of Toledo, Ohio and her great grandchildren: Kendra, Alana, Dayne, Jaycee and Kaydence; her nieces: Sharon (Noel) Jerome, Cyndi Hoover, 3 great nieces, 1 great-great niece and 3 great-great nephews.

Friends and family may come to honor Helen’s life from 11am to 1pm on Tuesday, May 23, 2023 at Boyd Funeral Home.  A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 23, 2023 starting at 1pm at the funeral home. Burial will follow service at Prospect Cemetery.  Donations may be given in Helen’s memory to Marion Area Humane Society, 2264 Richland Road, Marion, Ohio 43302.  The Boyd Funeral Home is honored to be serving the Williams family.
