Juanita J. Jones

     Juanita Joanne Jones, age 68, of Prospect, OH, passed away at her home on July 8, 2020.  She was born to the late Floyd and Elva (Zwolle) Barr in Marion, OH. Joanne was truck driver for 35 years and worked for Tuscarora.  She loved country car rides, riding motorcycles, camping, visiting Amish country and trying her luck at the casino with gambling buddies Aunt Ruth and Auntie Eve.  She was hard working and had a “green thumb”.  But most of all, she loved spending time with her family and boys, Max and Cheese.

      In addition to her parents, Joanne was preceded in death by her sisters, Vicky Sue, Rebecca, and Diane and her husband, Dwayne K. Jones. Together they had a daughter, Anita Jones, who survives to cherish her memory.  Also surviving are brothers, Mike, Ralph (Eva), Raymond (Louise), George (Marie), and Bill; grandchildren, Katelynn and Lindie Gallant, and Drayson Ford; many nieces and nephews.

     A graveside service will be held at the Caledonia Cemetery on Tuesday, July 14, 2020 at 11:00am with Pastor Audie Murphy.  The family would like to give a special “thank you” to Heartland Hospice.  The Boyd-Born Funeral Home is honored to be chosen to care for the Jones family.
