June Bailey, age 92 of Marion, passed away on Friday, February 28, 2020 at Fairhaven Community in Upper Sandusky. She was born on August 1, 1927 to the late Thomas Privett and Georgia (Conley) Privett Frye in Chapmanville, West Virginia.
June was a master at crochet, both prolific and talented, and she was also very involved in politics, having been invited to JFK’s inaugural ball. She was an avid Buckeyes fan. She was incredibly proud of her four daughters, and she will be dearly missed by them, her growing family, and all who knew her.
She is survived by her daughters Linda (Rodger) Smith of Rialto, CA, Yvonne (Stephen) Langdon of Birmingham, MI, Deborah Jessie of Logan, OH, and Dinah Jessie of Marion, OH; one sister; one brother; eight grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husbands William Jessie and Thomas “Bud” Bailey and nine siblings.
A private service will be held for the family.
