Kenneth "Ken" Vernon Wilson

     Kenneth “Ken” Vernon Wilson, age 98, of Marion passed away on Tuesday, January 28, 2020, at 9:58 AM in the Presidential Center. He was born on November 24, 1921 in Washington Court House, Ohio to the late Harry C. and Katherine (Long) Wilson.  Ken married the former Norma Jean Gruber on September 28, 1946 in Marion, Ohio and she preceded him in death on February 6, 2005.  He is survived by a son; Kenneth B. (Diane) Wilson of Marion, OH, two daughters; Jodi (Chris) Henkel of Mansfield, OH & Pam Henry of Marion, OH, a brother; Don L. Wilson of Marion, OH, five grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild

     Ken served in the U.S. Air Force during WWII. He was employed for 42 years with the Huber Manufacturing Corp. before his retirement.

     A Memorial Service celebrating Ken’s life will be held in the Boyd-Born Funeral Home on Sunday, February 9, 2020, at 3:00 PM conducted by Rev. Nathan R. McBeth. Burial will take place in the Green Camp Cemetery at a later date.
