Lora Mae Belcher, age 62 of Marion, passed away on October 7, 2020 at her residence. Lora was born June 8, 1958 to Lorain Conners (Pyles) Murphy and the late Charles Gene Conners in Marion, Ohio. On February 20, 1974 She married the love of her life, Donald Belcher, and they spent 42 years together.
Lora attended the Mt. Vernon Ave. Church of Christ on Sundays. She retired from a supervisor position at Murphy Industries after 25 years of service. Lora enjoyed going to flea markets and always had her eye out for Taylor Tot Strollers. Family was her world and her mother was who she attributed to making her tough and she always looked up to her. Every Friday night her and her sisters would get together. She also loved her brothers very much. Her children meant a lot to her, but it was no secret that her grandchildren had her heart. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephew.
Lora was preceded in death by her Father; Charles Gene Conners, Husband; Donald Belcher., Brother Gene M. Conners, Sister; Ruby Forman.
Lora is survived by her Mother; Lorain Conners (Pyles) Murphy, Children; Donald (Amber) Belcher II and Loralye (Kevin) Hicks, Grandchildren; Kaylee (Joe) Moran, Kerri (Wyatt) Uresti, Emilee Belcher, Adam Gullet, Brooklynn, Logan and Melody, Great-Grandchildren; Leam, Reagan, Athena, Atticus, Adyson and Mason, Brothers; Vernon (Pam) Conners, and Raymond (Gerry) Conners, Sisters; Ollie Johnson, and Karen Nitz. The family would also like to say thank you to Juanita and Julia for the care they provided Lora.
Family and Friends may call Sunday, October 11, 2020 from 1:00p to 3:00p at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home. Minister Jeff Bush will be giving the blessing. In lieu of Flowers, donations can be made to Kindred Hospice. Those choosing to attend the visitation are reminded that face coverings will be required and that there will be a limit of 25 persons allowed in the building at a time.
