Robert Lee Arthur

     Robert Lee Arthur, age 74,  formerly of Marion and currently of Galion, Ohio passed away on Thursday, August 27, 2020, at 4:20 AM at his residence. He was born in Marion, Ohio on May 28, 1946 to the late Worley Raymond and Pauline Maxine (Allen) Arthur. He is survived by his former wife; Patricia Ann (Malone) Arthur of Hardeeville, S.C., sons; Gregory Dale Arthur, James Curtis (Lyndsey) King II of Hardeeville, S.C., & Shane Michael (Heather) King of Ridgeland, S.C., a daughter; Stacy Lynn Arthur, a sister; Linda Lou (Roger) Rentz of Genoa, OH., 9 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchildren. Robert was preceded in death by a daughter; Brenda Marie Arthur.

     Robert truly enjoyed playing euchre any time, any place. He was employed as a machine operator for 39 years with the Eaton Corp., Dana Corp., & Cypress before his retirement.  A graveside service will be held in the Marion Cemetery on Tuesday, September 1, 2020, at 11:00 AM. Rev. Don Kelley will be officiating and there will be no visiting hours held. Donations in Robert’s name may be made to the Marion Co. Humane Society or to the Quality of Life Hospice Program at Marion General Hospital.
