Shane Gosnell Obituary

Shane Michael Gosnell, age 43 of Marion, passed away on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at Marion General Hospital. He was born on September 9, 1977 in Marion to his parents John and Lori (Elliott) Gosnell.

Shane worked for the Marion City Police Department for 15 years, and he reached the position of Lieutenant before leaving. He was a medalist golfer with the Heart of Ohio Junior Golf Association, and he played golf as well as baseball during his time at Harding High School.

He is survived by his son Peydon Gosnell and his parents John and Lori Gosnell.

Private services will be held for the family. Burial will take place at Marion Cemetery at a later date.
