Tommy Ray Horn, 55 of Marion, OH passed away at the Marion General Hospital on January 31, 2023. On February 21, 1967, his late parents, Harold Horn and Carolyn Belcher, would welcome him into the world in Louisa, KY. Late in his life he would meet his girlfriend, Heidi Murphy, and he would spend the rest of his time with her.
Tommy worked for 25 years as a mixer for the Glen Gary Brick Company. When he wasn’t working there, he had a labor of love for cars. He loved all kinds of cars and enjoyed drag racing and motorcycles as well. To really know Tommy would be to know his funny side. He could make anyone laugh and had an infectious smile. Singing karaoke and dancing were just a couple of things that he would do for fun and to share that fun with anyone in his life.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Timothy D. Horn and his half-brother, Larry A. Jones.
He leaves his memories with his son, Tommy Horn of Marion, daughter, Shaina (Preston) Bringle of Cardington, OH, half-brother, Joseph Adam Jones of Marion, OH, his sisters, Deborah (George) Hudson of Kenton, OH, and Lisa Horn of Marion, OH, and his grandchildren, Bailey, Kaylynn, and Makenzie.
Tommy’s Family would like to invite his family and loved ones to join them for calling hours at the Boyd Funeral Home on Saturday, February 4, 2023, from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. There will be a memorial service at the funeral home immediately after the calling hours on the same day. Pastor Brent Longstrenth will be officiating the service and music will be played by Kevin Norris. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the family. The Boyd Funeral Home is honored to be assisting Tommy's family in their time of need.
